Medical Mission

"Gusto ko, Healthy ka"

GROWING up with the family of business minded siblings taught me valuable lessons on time management  and skillful balancing of priorities in  life.
(with Family pic)

As a human being, we value the health and welfare of our family more than any fortune we have. A famous cliché says..health is wealth, truest to its  meaning to every Filipino Family…to every Ilonggo...

With this conviction, I sincerely felt I have to offer a helping hand by spearheading a Medical Mission and Blood Letting program to the least of my constituents especially those living in the relocation sites of the City.

It’s more than heartwarming to know that upon seeing these people you can actually feel the warmth and sincerity as they flood towards you through their firm handshakes, huge smiles, and tight embrace.

To myself, this is just but a simple gesture of concern to the people who have trusted me to become City Councilor.  My heart overflowed with gratitude and grace. It made me realized that no small things will be left unreciprocated if sincerely shared.

I am also thankful to the doctors and nurses which is headed by Dr. Ceres Locot, who came out their way despite their busy schedule to take part and extend their expertise to render their selfless service to our constituents.

You were all great volunteers! God bless you!

Our team was able to serve more or less 500 patients, mostly children.

We were also accompanied by a team of expert Red Crossers from the PNRC’s Regional Blood Bank in support of the agencies Blood Donation Program...

...which complemented our medical mission in providing treatment for common bodily ailments and disposing medicines .

All else is but means to the one great end, and it is of the highest importance that the remembrance of that goal should be kept constantly in mind.
